Pratley Studio series is the pinnacle of our production guitars. With a rare solid Australian Cedar soundboard these guitars are designed for high level studio recording and solo performances. The combination of Australian Cedar and Tasmanian Blackwood provide a complex tonal pallet with amazing dynamics and volume. The sustain is true and the bass is a standout that surprises the first time user. Featuring the Pratley proprietary AX bracing, artists find that the high notes are clear and crisp without being harsh. Often described as "sweet" sounding. 

Beautiful Wenge is used for the fingerboard and bridge. It is extremely hard waring and tonally rich, adding to the depth of this instrument.

One more very important part of this guitar is the finish. We use a very specific grain fill and nitrocellulose lacquer combination that took many years to perfect. This specialty Semi-Gloss finish maintains the brilliant tone of the Australian Cedar, not subtracting from it like traditional grain filled finishes.
