Pratley Premier series is a very well refined and executed acoustic with some classic style. This model comes with beautiful hand selected Qld Maple back and sides and a lovely AAA Qld Blue Fig Soundboard. The Fig soundboard is a tone-rich Australian native that was pioneered by Martin Pratley in the mid to late 2000's. It has a sweet rounded finish to notes with a good mid range presence and some natural compression. It can be thought of as fitting in somewhere between a Spruce or Bunya toped guitar and a Blackwood or Koa toped guitar.

We use select Johnstone River Teak for the fingerboard and bridge. It is an extremely hard wearing and oily timber that is equal to many of the rosewood species.

The Premier is finished with our premium Satin Nitrocellulose lacquer. The Soundboard is fully grain filled with our proprietary method and finished with a translucent vintage amber.
